Who we are

Internationally qualified, STOTT-certified instructors and the full apparatus range — Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, Chair and Mat. Method-true Pilates, not a social-media knock-off.

You don't need to be fit or experienced. Most people walk in nervous and start in Rookie Vagabond — you're in safe hands, even when your legs are shaking.

Members are Vagabonds. The banter matters as much as the technique — everyone leaves feeling included, welcomed and part of it.

Train at either of our studios near Blandford and Lytchett — exposed brick, big windows, and your membership works across both.
Our classes
Reformer classes graded from total-beginner to intermediate, plus postnatal and private sessions.

Your first stop on the reformer.
The entry-level intro for total beginners. Never touched a reformer? This is where you learn the machine, the method and the basics — at your pace, with nothing to prove.

Build your repertoire and your endurance.
The next step once Rookie feels familiar. You'll add exercises, hold longer, and start moving with more control.

For when the reformer feels like home.
Our intermediate class — faster sequencing and more challenge for regulars who want to keep progressing.

Rebuild and reconnect, gently.
A perinatal-trained instructor guides a small postnatal course at Blandford — a safe, supported way back to movement after birth.

Train solo, or bring a friend.
Specialist private sessions to really focus on your movement — for specific goals, injury recovery, or a confidence head-start.
Our space
Two characterful countryside studios near Blandford and Lytchett — exposed brick, big windows and a lot of natural light. Your membership works across both.

Emma has been part of Vagabond since the very beginning — back when it all started in Millie's home studio. She runs, plays tennis and paddles, and came to reformer Pilates to build the core strength and flexibility that hold all of it together.
What kept her is the community — people of all ages and abilities moving together and supporting one another. Would she recommend Vagabond? Absolutely.
“People of all ages and abilities, all moving and supporting each other — that's what keeps me coming back.”

Our story
Millie spent 21 years in the Royal Air Force before a life-changing cancer journey changed everything. She found Pilates in recovery — a tool for rebuilding her body and her mind — and started teaching one-to-one from her home studio.
As reformer Pilates filled with lower-quality, social-media-driven classes, she set out to do the opposite: champion authentic, method-true Pilates. That's why Vagabond is built around actual STOTT Pilates — and why the banter matters as much as the technique.

Our 1:1 and 2:1 sessions give you space to really focus on your movement — ideal for a specific goal, injury recovery, or a confidence head-start before classes. Train solo or bring a friend.
Meet the founders

Founder · 21 years RAF · cancer-free
Millie served 21 years in the Royal Air Force before a cancer journey led her to Pilates — and to rebuilding through it. She founded Vagabond to champion authentic, method-true Pilates.
Her classes are focused, engaging and challenging, delivered with warmth, precision and a good sense of humour.
“My vision was a studio that champions authentic, high-quality Pilates — delivered with precision, knowledge, and respect for the method.”

Co-founder · runs the studio & team
A Performing Arts degree and a love of dance led Molly to Pilates; years in sales came before her son arrived and she re-evaluated everything to join Millie.
She's energy, warmth and big personality — the kind of instructor who puts you at ease the second you walk in. No intimidation, no ego, just good vibes and proper Pilates.
“Pilates should be challenging, welcoming, uplifting — and a little bit addictive!”

Co-founder · ~30 years in demanding environments
A former Special Forces operator, Tim brings precision, discipline and obsessive attention to detail. His classes are purposeful and challenging — detailed coaching, strong playlists, questionable humour.
He works with beginners, athletes and injury-recovery clients alike, and is a passionate advocate for making Pilates more accessible to men.
“Intelligent movement training that will humble you faster than most gym workouts ever could.”
